Ness

Ness

Ness, a female otter, was found alone at Ardgay near Bonar Bridge, Scotland.

Holly

Holly

Holly was found in the Golspie area of north east Scotland.

Shannon

Shannon

Shannon came to IOSF all the way from the west coast of Ireland via the Scottish SPCA wilidlife unit at Middlebank.

The Cikananga Otters

The Cikananga Otters

Nessie, Lenci and Merci are three Asian short-clawed otters being cared for by Cikananga Rescue Centre in Indonesia where it is not uncommon for otters to be taken from the wild as pets and then abandoned as they get older. Because these otters become imprinted by humans it is impossible to put them back into the wild.

IOSF is supporting Cikananga in their care of these resuced otters and you can too by purchasing our Cikananga Otter Adoption.

Mazu The Congo Clawless Otter

Mazu The Congo Clawless Otter

Adopt Mazu and help in the care of this Congo Clawless otter and the future of otters in this area.
Mazu was found, her eyes still shut, after her mother was killed for food by hunters. She was taken to Rita and Glen Chapman, missionaires in the Kikongo area of The Congo, who now care for her. Mazu has become an ambassador there, with many local people visiting to see the otter - an animal they know very little about.

A Special Furget-Me-Not Adoption

A Special Furget-Me-Not Adoption
